Social Innovation Cluster

Many Social Innovation initiatives are being launched by members of the IE community. This organic and natural interest of different people from different paths and areas speaks to our commitment as an organization. In order to leverage the knowledge and impact these initiatives produce, the IE CSR department in collaboration with the Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation launched the IE Social Innovation Cluster, to which all students at IE Business School are invited to join.

The overall goal of this Cluster is to learn from the various activities that many members of the IE community are implementing in which they apply innovation to pursue positive social impact. Also, we facilitate collaboration and networking among those interested in the topic as well as promote their activities both internally and externally.

Hult Prize

The Hult Prize is the world’s largest student competition and start-up platform for social good. In partnership with President Bill Clinton and the Clinton Global Initiative, the innovative crowdsourcing platform identifies and launches disruptive and catalytic social ventures that aim to solve the planet’s most pressing challenges. Student teams compete around the world for a chance to secure US$ 1 million in start-up funding to launch a sustainable social venture.

The Hult Prize focuses on the President’s Challenge – a challenge personally selected by President Bill Clinton.

We look for at least 10 teams of 3-4 people each to participate in this event at IE Business School and the winning team will be fast tracked to compete at one of the six Hult Prize regional finals events around the world bypassing the general application for San Francisco, Boston, London, Dubai, Shanghai, and a TBD 6th location.

To compete, please email the Campus Director on for more information.
